Punjab ADA eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
- Law Degree: Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Law (Professional Degree) from a recognized university, or be a Barrister of England/Ireland, or a member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland.
- Advocate Enrollment: Must be eligible for enrollment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of practice at the Bar is required.
- Punjabi Language: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age (General): 37 years
- Maximum Age (SC/BC – Punjab): 42 years
- Maximum Age (State/Central Government Employees): 45 years
- Maximum Age (PwD – Punjab): 47 years
Punjab ADA Application Fees 2026
The Punjab ADA application fee 2026 varies category-wise:
- General Category: ₹1500.
- SC / BC (Punjab only): ₹750.
- Ex-Servicemen / EWS / PWD (Punjab only): ₹500.
